Cathy Northington is Director of Programs and Leadership.

Cathy comes to MEC full-time after nearly five years as a project assistant, responsible for planning and organizing major MEC events. She also heads the Leadership Mississippi program. She brings a wealth of experience and talent from the business community, having previously worked in the banking and legal arena. A native of Jackson, Miss., Cathy attended El Camino College in Los Angeles, Ca., where she majored in psychology. Cathy resides in Madison with her husband and three children.
